Modern Moonlight

I had a dream that I could fly! Those dreams are fun, but they make me anxious. I'm supposed to feel free in those dreams, I'm assuming, since I'm open to go anywhere, but I'm always flying against something, like gravity.... does that even make any sense? Whatevs.

I dreams that I could fly! But. I could only fly when there was music playing, and I couldn't fly through clouds. It was a cloudy night. Then a monster (some guy, actually, but he was scary) was coming after me, and I couldn't fly away because I was too scared to think of music. Then the Dresden Dolls (who weren't actually the Dresden Dolls) came out and played music. Amanda (not really Amanda) played a fast song on the piano (like the title of this blog) and I was able to fly. I couldn't fly high enough, though, because it was cloudy. The clouds were VERY low, too, so the guy was still able to go after me. They kept playing, and I kept flying. Finally, there was a small gap in all the clouds that I was able to squeeze through and get away.

Stupid gravity. It plays favorites.

That's really kind of beautiful, though: music giving you the ability to fly. To find a gap in the clouds and soar through it.
