Got Leche?

I dreamed this on Saturday night. Don't know exactly where it took place, but it was a dry area. Some third-world country, maybe latin. It was a desert for sure, though, and the houses looked more like shacks.

A nude woman gave birth. Not to a baby, though. I didn't see a baby. She did give birth, though. She was totally out of it, as if she was going to pass out. She was told to fill a wooden bucket with breast milk. She did so pretty quickly. The bucket was delivered to one of the men (there were about a dozen people, mostly men). He got another bucket full of water, took a cup of the breast milk, and poured it into that second bucket. In the water then appeared a spirit. The spirit is what she had given birth to. It appeared in the water. I don't remember at all what it looked like, but it was there.

The woman (still disoriented) was then carried through a hallway (this was all outdoors) and into a small area, like a corral. She was placed on a table, and her arms and legs were tied up. Slowly, her limbs were being pulled until they would eventually be torn off. In the meanwhile, we all sat on the wooden fence, watching. It was a ritual, and she was some sort of sacrafice. She didn't seem in too much pain, but she was for sure going to die. I don't know if it was a religious ceremony.

We just sat, watched, and drank the breast milk from our cream-colored mugs. We didn't like the milk, though. Most people spit it out. It was supposed to taste good. It didn't.
