Summer Night's Christmas

It all took place in the evening. Sam and Joe told me that they were moving to Hesperia soon. By soon, they meant that same day. I remember walking over to their new home, which is exactly where they live now only instead of turning right onto their street, their house was on the "main street." I didn't go in, or talk to anyone. I just remember walking up to the house.
That evening (I think) Sam and I went to school. We were both the newbies, but it was as if people already knew us. We were all having lunch outside, but were surrounded by three brick, heavily painted, blue walls. Sam and I were like a team; it was us and them. We were just being ourselves, careless to what the others thought of us. That didn't matter, though, because they liked us anyway. We were having a blast.
Not sure if this was the same dream, but it also took place in the evening. I went to the second home that my mom and dad owned. It might have been a condo. It was two stories (which is strange because my parents would never buy a two story home, let alone a condo), maybe two bedroom, one bath. I remember walking in and feeling right at home, like it was where I belonged. It was warm and cozy. I knew that we rarely ever visited that home, but it was nicely furnished. Lots of warm colors. I went upstairs to a dark bedroom (the lights were on in the hall). I started toward the bed. I was going to hide underneath it, like I had done once before. In my dream, I remembered about the first time I hid under there. A man came in. I don't remember if his intention was to kill me, but I "escaped" by hiding under the bed. I guess I anticipated his return, so I did the same this time, knowing that it wasn't going to work again. It was hard to get under the bed, though. The mattress sunk very close to the ground. I sensed him coming, and finally saw him.
Then the doorbell rang and I found myself walking down the stairs, never knowing what happened with the mysterious man. As I was heading to the door, I noticed that the Christmas decorations were up. There was gold everywhere, and a large Christmas tree stood in the living room. I opened the door and was greeted by my neighbors. They were there to welcome me with a batch of cookies, but I knew they were really there because they were curious about who I was. I told them that my dad owned the place, but we rarely used it. I was just there for a little weekend vacation by myself. They told me that it was a shame the house was empty so much, and I told them that I was considering paying rent and living there permanently. They said that they were actually thinking the same thing, and wanted to speak to my dad about it. I told them I'd mention it to him.
Very anticlimactic.
