Got Leche?

I dreamed this on Saturday night. Don't know exactly where it took place, but it was a dry area. Some third-world country, maybe latin. It was a desert for sure, though, and the houses looked more like shacks.

A nude woman gave birth. Not to a baby, though. I didn't see a baby. She did give birth, though. She was totally out of it, as if she was going to pass out. She was told to fill a wooden bucket with breast milk. She did so pretty quickly. The bucket was delivered to one of the men (there were about a dozen people, mostly men). He got another bucket full of water, took a cup of the breast milk, and poured it into that second bucket. In the water then appeared a spirit. The spirit is what she had given birth to. It appeared in the water. I don't remember at all what it looked like, but it was there.

The woman (still disoriented) was then carried through a hallway (this was all outdoors) and into a small area, like a corral. She was placed on a table, and her arms and legs were tied up. Slowly, her limbs were being pulled until they would eventually be torn off. In the meanwhile, we all sat on the wooden fence, watching. It was a ritual, and she was some sort of sacrafice. She didn't seem in too much pain, but she was for sure going to die. I don't know if it was a religious ceremony.

We just sat, watched, and drank the breast milk from our cream-colored mugs. We didn't like the milk, though. Most people spit it out. It was supposed to taste good. It didn't.

Flash Back/ Flash Forward

I've been having strange dreams lately that leave me waking with an odd feeling. I don't remember the details of them, though. Last night, I had several dreams, but can only remember a couple.

I can't remember the sequence of any of it, or how it played through. I just remember... A tropical beach, not full of tourists and all. It wasn't very sandy; More dirt, trees, rocks, et cetera. It was a hike, or something similar. I was with family. Not the little cousins. I was with dad's side of the family. I don't think I was talking to any of them. We were just going on through the jungle/forest (not sure which, maybe a combination). Everyone was starting to move ahead of me. I had to jump down this large rock to continue on the trail. I felt like I didn't belong somehow.

I saw a picture. It was displayed... I don't know where. I think it was pinned up somewhere. I saw the picture; it was the family on the same trail a year ago (or more). The people who stood out were Izzy, Mayra and Joanna, and Kathleen and Kristie (don't know why they were there, but they were). I wasn't in that picture. I guess that's why I felt that I shouldn't have been there at all.

We stopped moving forward and just walked around the area. I went out of the jungle/forest and walked along the beach. The day was kind of cool... February weather. It was early morning, the sky was cloudy, and it was pretty windy but not cold. I was walking along, climbing over and around rocks. I felt alone. Out of nowhere, a projector played a video in mid-air. It was when I had long, wavy hair, back in high school. It kind of looked like Shakira's Unplugged, only not so red and big. I was just with the family, feeling out of place and awkward, trying to get away. My hair was mussed and in my face.

.::.Edit.::. This is the best pic I have on the computer that shows what my hair sort of looked like:

It was darker, more curls, slightly longer. That stood out in the dream.::.

My second dream... I was living in a house... I had kids. I think I had two boys and a girl. I don't know, they weren't the major part of my dream but I just remembered them now as I was typing. All I remember was that I lived in a large house with small rooms... wooden floors........ my room........... well, my room was in another room. My room was an armoir. I went into a virtually empty room and when I opened the armoir, there was another room inside. I walked into what looked like an attic. Although the room was small, it was very comforting. The first thing that stood out was a window at the opposite end of the room, in the bathroom. I had my own bathroom with a shower, and my own bed. The colors... I remember a lot of dark browns and dark reds, but there wasn't a dark feeling to it. It was nice. I don't know. I think one of my sons wanted to come in or something, and I didn't want him to so I just went out and told him to go someplace else.

So I can't remember what exactly happens in my dream... I just wake up with the feelings they leave.
